Hello!
Writing is, without a doubt, a great passion of mine. I write every single day without fail. I have to. If I don't, I feel edgy, irritable, lost, confused. So even if it's only one sentence or ten pages, I have to be working on a story. It's in my blood.
Another passion of mine is my dog - Rico - a Havanese. I just love him. I haven't had a dog since a wee child, so with great excitement, I adopted my little pet, six years ago. Wanting him to be a good dog, I enrolled in an obedience class and then went on to train Rico in agility. Surprisingly, he was very good at it and we achieved our Masters.
We then switched to freestyle - which is basically moving and dancing with your dog, as well as, teaching them lots of tricks. It's so much fun and very freeing. I take lessons every week, plus I train in between, and these moments are golden. There is great laughter, the joy of working together, multiple fun and a complete respite from life's worries. Dog training is my yoga, my meditation, my happy place.
Right now, Rico is learning to skateboard. I'll keep you updated on his progress.
