Hello everyone,
I wanted to share that my new book Guilt will be coming out soon. I'm deep in the editing process now and I'll let you see the cover as soon as it is finished.
In Guilt, Samantha Barclay comes to Canada to help her friend Charlotte O'Neil. Charlotte is devastated that her brother, David, confessed to the murder of a local psychiatrist. She is convinced he is covering for someone and Samantha is on the hunt for the real killer.
The tentative release date is May 1 but it might be out even sooner.
I'll keep you up to date.

Hello there,
Last Saturday, my books and I were at the St. Patrick's Christmas Craft Show.
To be honest, I'm always nervous in these situations. I'm very shy about my writing, not very confident about my books, and find it quite difficult to promote my work.
On the other hand, I love to meet new people, and especially love chatting about writing and reading - a huge passion of mine.
Well, I had a terrific time. The organizers were fabulous and very welcoming and I also had the exciting surprise of a fellow dog-trainer paying me with a visit.
I also had one of those ‘suspended in time’ kind of moments as well, and wanted to share it.
It was one of those moments when someone approaches your table and you catch the glint in their eye, the excitement radiating from them, and you know standing before you is a fellow book-lover. Someone with the same passion towards reading that you have.
These are wonderful moments for me.
On this particular day, this moment came in the form of a young girl who was helping out in the tea room. Yep, she was a reader and a fervent one, as well. She popped over many times for a visit and a discussion about my two 'young adult' books. She had that glow in her eye when she talked about her love for books, how she always read all the time and couldn't even fall asleep until she'd read even only a few pages.
I so related to that feeling.
My mother said that I taught myself to read even before entering grade one. I don't remember that but I do remember my grade one teacher telling us to go home and read the first story in our readers... and I'd devour the whole book in about an hour. I was lucky. This same teacher kept giving me more and more books to read and I also read everything I could find in the house - even encyclopedias - and then I discovered libraries.....
So I love those special moments when you meet someone who shares the same passion that you do for books.
And I love that hopefully... maybe... sometimes... my own books might provide a spark for someone else.:)
Happy Reading,
Suzanne
