Hello,
Like most writers, a lot of my books require a great deal of thought. My mind races all day with plots and ideas and how to smooth out scenes. Questions walk through my head as if on stage - entering, making their presence known, only exiting if answered.
So driving and walking are my meditative experiences, allowing me time to reflect. I often race in the door after, to quickly write down my ideas.
So lately I've been exploring various trails around the neighborhood with my BFFF - Best Fur Friend Forever - my Havanese called Rico. A friend took me to one I'd never walked on before - The Chippewa Trail and since then, I've been going there every single day.
The trail is nestled in nature with lots of green fields and horses - so peaceful to a writer's mind - allowing me the freedom to let my story lines flow. But what is interesting about this trail is that it also snakes behind a local Zoo. Now, I love all animals and am not keen at all at seeing them cages, but wow - walking the trail allows me to see a tiger every day.
Now how cool is that?
Not everyone can say they saw a tiger while out with their dog for a morning walk.
Adventures are the stepping stones of writers. Today I had a great adventure with a really wild animal.
Tigers - such magnificent and graceful animals.
Thanks for listening.
