Hello there,
I still get excited on the day my newest book is released. It is still thrilling to see years of hard work, daily writing, editing, and allowing my mind and heart to soar with ideas come to fruition.
Today my book ON STRIKE comes alive. This book explores the 'down' side of kindness where fictional character Penny Harris feels her kindness has been her downfall. Not wanting to turn bitter but also not wanting to be consistently hurt, Penny goes camping to get away from everyone and to have time to think. And of course, she is accompanied by her sweet pup, Ginger.
Throughout the course of this book, Penny learns many lessons and of course, once again, I am almost absurd about her pets because yes, she adopts another dog and a cat. I create them as almost being human, because in my eyes, they are.
A huge thank you goes out to Lorraine Purcell, an excellent dog trainer, who gave me insight into 'showing dogs' and competitions. Her shared thoughts were invaluable and all errors are mine.
