Just wanted to share that I'm almost finished my eighth Samantha Barclay mystery book. It's also my thirteenth book overall.
Hard to believe.
My eight Samantha book is entitled 'The Cookie Club' - makes me hungry for cookies every time I say it. In this chapter of Sam's life, she is asked to infiltrate a nearby town to uncover who is killing off the residents, one by one. She moves into a one bedroom apartment with her trusted sidekick, Maxine, a gorgeous red-haired Irish Setter - and sets out to solve the murders.
It's almost done and love this stage in my writing. My ideas come from my heart and often they're hard to pin down. I have no idea what my characters are going to do as I write, for they all seem to have minds of their own. So I am never quite sure how the story will tie up until I write.
