GIVING BIRTH!

Good morning!

No, I really didn't actually give birth, but I just finished my eighth Samantha Barclay book - my thirteenth book overall - and submitted it.

I tell you, there is nothing like that incredible feeling when you press the 'send' button on your computer, and off it goes to my publisher. 

What a feeling!

The reason I compare it to giving birth is that I labor on it for days, weeks, months, years. I pour over every word, making sure I've made the best selection. I go over and over the book. So much so, I can practically recite it word for word. 

And I never know when it's finished. I keep changing words constantly. 

Until... one day, I just say, 'Okay, that's enough." And I'm done. 

Now comes the nerve-wracking part - waiting to see if my publisher will accept it. 

It's called - The Cookie Club. Stay tuned. 

Oh, and here's a video of Rico. Rico knows I love when he 'sits pretty'. The other day he rushed past me as I walked down the hall. When I turned the corner, he had positioned him in a 'sit pretty'. LOL. Yep, he got a treat.
