Roses are very significant to me. Not only are they the flower of love, but it is the last gift I gave my mother - a beautiful long-stemmed rose. And she loved it. It was also the last time I saw her, before she passed away, when I was a teen.
So roses represent love but also represent my mother - who is also love - the most loving person I have ever met.
So I felt it fitting to have a rose represent the year 2017. It is all about love, to me. We are all like the stems, who travel through the thorns of life, but flourish and blossom and emerge as beautiful red roses, to take on the world and all its many challenges, but mostly to love with all our hearts.
So Happy New Year everyone. I wish for you to spend 2017 discovering your joy, love, peace, happiness and good health.
