Everyone is asking for an update on my dog, Rico. Here it is.
HE IS DOING GREAT!
I am so thrilled. It was a rough five weeks as he recovered from two surgeries after being attacked by bull mastiffs. I found it tough seeing him like this, where I had to hand-feed him and carry him out for potty breaks or wheel him out on a cart.
Great medical care, lots of TLC, and he's one hundred percent recovered. I am grateful that the road to healing was smooth with no infections or problems mixed in.
He is able to walk as far as he did before, after recovering his strength and endurance.
He is happy and doesn't seem traumatized in the least.
I am, but he isn't, LOL. Although I am over it now, too.
So thanks to my Vet, Dr Dan, and the whole veterinary clinic for their expertise and to friends who pitched in to help.
Life is good.

He's as rascally as ever.
